Great interview with Apple design guru Jonathan Ives in the Telegraph:
“It’s sad and frustrating that we are surrounded by products that seem to testify to a complete lack of care. That’s an interesting thing about an object. One object speaks volumes about the company that produced it and its values and priorities.”
Makes you think about the worst objects you have ever owned. I nominate the Austin Allegro I owned circa 1985; truly one of the worst cars in the world. Oh, and any video recorder.
