Poems from Roots

Just back from Roots last night — a weekend conference for the Salvation Army, where I was helping to run the Café church venue.

Anyway, as part of the evenings I read a couple of poems and people were kind enough to ask me for copies. Since I’d only written them in my notebooks I couldn’t deliver at the event — but I can now.

[Marching Orders->] accompanied an evening about the Centurion in Luke 7.

[Downhill->] is an oblique look at the story of the Good Samaritan.
